Embarrassing. "Ace" got rocked by the last place team in the division. Velo lower than usual, little movement on his pitches, and the Giants fan next to me was even wondering if he was tipping the pitches considering he looked like he was pitching batting practice. Then the bullpen arrives to give up another eight runs. Offense? Offensive.

I've had an American League team (#Mariners) and National League team (#SFGiants). I will always have a soft spot for them, but the @SFGiants are never going to get it right again and today's going to be my last time paying to watch them.
Taking on older problematic players past their prime. Can't build a bullpen. A 5 win "ace" who struggles to hit 93 and just served up batting practice to the Rockies. There are bright spots in the lineup - Arraez, Eldridge, Lee, Schmidt, but they're not connected and not enough people get hot on the same day consistently. There's nothing to get excited about anymore. The Giants either can't or won't spend with the Dodgers to compete with them. Even if they did, the players won't come.
I'll always Love You San Francisco, but tonight's game in Denver is my farewell to the Giants.

@EldridgeIsKing I would love to see him do it. It's going to be tough. Really tough - Batting Lefty with Oracle Park as your home ballpark is not like batting Lefty with the short porch at Yankee stadium. Still, I'd love to see him do it.
