Two Black boys running a lemonade stand received an unexpected show of support after someone called 911 on them. Instead of shutting them down, Kansas City police officers and firefighters showed up to support them, helping them earn hundreds of dollars. This is what community should look like! "My hope is in a Person, the Lord Jesus Christ, who sits at the right hand of God. I have hope and know that I'm going to Heaven. And, right here and now in this present life, I have God's presence to help me." —Billy Graham
Life is a gift that we too often take for granted. We can become trapped by our past or consumed with worry about our future—and sometimes we do both at the same time.
But God wants us to live in the moment, appreciating His blessings and making the most of the life He has given us. As Christians, we should not only enjoy life, but honor God with it.
Here’s the takeaway: Live each day as though it were your last—because one day, it will be.
That’s why Moses prayed, “Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom” (Psalm 90:12).
A wise person remembers that life is short, eternity is long, and every day is a gift from God.
