Marge has my vote! Her passion & attention to the needs of students & teachers, her experience & perspective as a teacher in two locals and her years as a teacher leader will make her an excellent #BCTF2018 Member-at-Large https://t.co/lKEbbDjBUc

Scores of #BCTF2018 delegates are lining up to have their copies of Seven Fallen Feathers signed by author/keynoter @TanyaTalaga. Amazing presentation = deep learning for #bced teachers.

[BC Teachers’ Federation @bctf]

Salaries for #bced teachers are some of the lowest in all of Canada. Statistics Canada has the data https://t.co/2UCGp5WvDe. We are second lowest for new teachers and second lowest for experienced teachers. This makes recruitment and solving teacher shortage harder. #BCTF2018

There is so much wrong with the @VSB39 budget survey. It should never have been posted. #bced I'm appalled. Never would have allowed this. https://t.co/v1mSSootW3

Sleight-of-hand! Preliminary #VSB39 2017-18 budget shortfall reduced from $14.9M to $2.1M by taking funds from #BCTF Teacher Fund. #bced
