Today, we took a proactive step in protecting our young learners by delivering an important session on online pressure and grooming as part of Safer Internet Day. 💻📱

Students learned about the risks of talking to strangers online, the dangers of grooming and cyberbullying, and how to recognize red flags such as:
⚠️ Strangers asking to keep conversations secret
⚠️ Pressure to share personal information or photos
⚠️ Offers of gifts or rewards in exchange for trust
⚠️ Messages that make them feel uncomfortable or scared

We’re ensuring they know how to respond safely if they ever feel at risk. 🛑🚫👨‍👩‍👦

It is illegal to own zombie-style knives and machetes, following new Government legislation.

These weapons are defined as having a blade over 8 inches long with a plain cutting edge, sharp pointed tip, and often feature serrated edges, multiple sharp points, spikes, or holes in the blade.

If you’re found in possession of one, you could now face a prison sentence. Stay informed and stay safe!
