but it’s not random: the first part always tells you what powers it, how it moves, or what it does.

汽 + 车 = gas-powered car
火 + 车 = fire-powered train
自行 + 车 = self-moving bike
出租 + 车 = for-hire taxi
公交 + 车 = public bus
消防 + 车 = fire-fighting truck
救护 + 车 = rescue ambulance

Once you spot the pattern,
you can “guess” the meaning of new vehicles instantly.

Learning “车” isn’t just vocabulary.

@EGYPTAIR 1st time using Egyptair 27th Dec. Worst experience of my entire life. Delayed flight, shuffled 2 a hotel @ midnight, no communication, no help, no updates. On board rude cabin crew, equipment broken. Sadly Will neva use this airline EVER again
