Done is BETTER than perfect.
Ship it. Improve it. Keep going.
The people waiting for perfect are still waiting. You can't refine what doesn't exist.
Have a great day✨
When you text someone, especially for the first time, please go straight to the point. I don't always have the patience for all the "Hello, how are you doing?" and "How is everything?" especially when we're not acquaintances.
"Good afternoon, sir. My name is A or B. We met during so-so and so-so, and you asked me to send you a message about this or that." That will simply do.
Don't waste my time asking me how my night was or how everything is.
I leave many messages unreplied to because of this. Save some of these pleasantries for people you know very well. A simple "Good morning" should do. Proceed with why you're texting and type it all at once before sending. If I don't have your number saved and you just text me, "Good morning, how are you?" I'll ignore you.
Guys, even when you want to send a girl you like on this app or other social media platforms a DM, after you've interacted a few times in the comment section, go straight to the point.
"Hello, Mariam. Good day. How is your day going? My name is Kosi. I believe we've interacted a few times in the comment section. I really enjoy how you write, and I'm amazed by your thought process. I must also say you're ravishingly pretty, amongst other qualities of yours I have come to admire over time."
Say a few things about yourself and tell her why you sent her a DM and that you would really appreciate having more conversations with her and getting to know each other better.
Not every day you come and drop "Hello, pretty," like one mentally deranged person.
Some people in the tech space on this app say I have a "don't buy expensive stuff" gimmick. I don't.
I simply believe in living within your means, spending intentionally, and getting the best possible ROI from every naira you earn, even when your budget is small.
One of the biggest lies social media has sold people is that you need to be rich before you can live well. You don't. You need to learn.
Learn how to shop smart. Learn how to recognize quality. Learn how to take care of yourself. Learn how to smell good without spending a fortune. Learn how to style what you already own.
If you don't have an expensive phone, learn how to get the best out of the one you have. Understand lighting, camera settings, and composition. Great photos aren't only about the device. They're also about the person using it.
Make the most of what you have today.
Because when you eventually get the things you've always wanted, you'll already have the skills to maximize them.
If you can comfortably afford luxury, enjoy it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
But don't let social media pressure you into spending money you don't have just to keep up with people you don't know.
Live within your means. Save. Invest.
Upgrade your lifestyle because you can afford it, not because the internet made you feel like you had to.
I'm just a young guy from Nigeria trying to make smart financial decisions while still enjoying life. That's the perspective I share here.
If you're looking for realistic content about money, careers, marketing, and making the most of what you have, you're in the right place.
Over here we share a lot. 🤗
The idea of money bouquet. I really don’t understand why I should pay 720k or 680k as quoted by two different vendors for a bouquet of 500k cash. If it’s not for some girl’s penchant for show-off, social media validation, and to pepper their female friends, wouldn’t it be preferable to just transfer the 500k cash to her while using the balance of 220k to buy other gift items?
I don’t know what it is with women and money bouquet. Same way I feel at a wedding or club where I’m required to pay an outrageous amount to get mints. Why should I pay 130k to get 100k to spray at a wedding? Club is even more outrageous.
I have value for my money and each time I pay for any of the aforementioned, I feel like I made a very big financial mistake.

Please guard your womb and your life jealously, stop playing with it!
Ladies, get pregnant when you know your partner can afford the best healthcare and, at the very least, a decent postnatal experience for you.
I’m tired of seeing women work themselves to exhaustion during pregnancy because they have to meet their own share of the financial responsibilities.
I’m tired of seeing women suffer botched surgeries and lifelong health complications because they can’t afford good hospitals.
I’m tired of seeing women die because they cannot afford hospital bills.
Be intentional about who you choose to have children with.
That’s the real struggle of the average Nigerian woman.
@GloriousGod01 I am thinking of starting now at least 1k daily.. not sure if I can keep up with the bills 🤦
