@RealRickRule We need people to live simple lives again, including the ultra wealthy. We need to return to an era where 1 car in the garage, 1 tv in the house and 1 parent working is deemed an accomplishment, and not looked down upon.

@Vercovicium Don’t worry , Hank Paulson and Jamie Dimon are working hard to create a “break the glass” emergency plan in case demand for bonds collapses. They will figure out something . They managed to come up with zirp and qe and will come up with another plan to keep things afloat

@Vercovicium Also in the late 90’s the gilts were much higher but they managed to tamp down the yields and we are almost 50% of those levels today. We have a long ways to go. Go out and enjoy the day

@Vercovicium Please don’t give up hope. The world you are forecasting would result in a cataclysmic drop in standard of living for the British. Do you really think they will just roll over and let that happen without lashing out and embarking on renewed global conquests and expropriation
