Jake Woodford began this season in Spring Training with the Tampa Bay Rays, but was traded to Milwaukee on March 24.

He made the Brewers' Opening Day roster and appeared in 16 games for Milwaukee.

After being released in July, Woodford made 2 appearances with the Cubs, then ended up back with the Rays in August. He made one Major League appearance for Tampa Bay on September 24.

Being the only player to appear for both teams in 2026, Woodford will go down as a World Series champion no matter who wins! 😄
