It will be interesting to see how new industries - yes I'm thinking #Bitcoin mining - contribute not only to MWh used but intraday patterns. Especially outside of the largest zones (coast and north central). Miners response to #4CP events will also be interesting to follow.

Every month in 2022 has broken same-month record of electricity consumption in #ERCOT. The month of May broke the previous 2018 record by a whopping 4.7 TWh. June is also on track to blow previous records away - already 1.7 TWh higher than comparable period previous years.
