Perfection is the asymptote towards which we constantly strive (at least now I know where my fifth star went; brb, off to buy a router and an aquarium)
I WROTE ILLYGAL ON THE MAYA LP A SONG FROM 2010.
I STARTED THIS INTRO TO THE SONG WITH THE STATEMENT SAYING I'M ILLYGAL, AND I SAID MY TEAM HASN'T GOTTEN VISAS YET. THEN PLAYED A SONG THAT HAD LYRICS SAYING "FU&% THE LAW", WHICH I STILL BELIEVE, IF THE LAW IS UNJUST F@%& IT.
DO NOT GAS LIGHT MY WORDS. THAT IS THE WORK OF SATAN.
I WROTE BORDERS AND ILLYGAL AND PAPER PLANES BEFORE YOU THOUGHT IMMIGRANT RIGHTS WERE COOL. I'VE HAD THSES BATTLES BY MYSELF WITHOUT THE HELP OF MILLIONS OF FANS BACKING ME . I DON'T NEED THIS VIRTUE SIGNAL ERA TO ALL OF A SUDDEN ERASE AN ENTIRE LIFE I'VE LED. JESUS WAS AN IMMIGRANT AND A REBEL. I HAVE NO APPOLGY FOR THE JUDGEMENTAL THE WICKED AND THE IGNORENT, FOR THOSE ARE SPIRITS THAT WE MUST OVER COME IN OUR LIVES AND IN THIS WORLD.
JESUS RETURNS TO LEAD THE WORLD JUSTLY BECAUSE THERE IS INJUSTICE IN THIS WORLD . IM PROUD OF THOSE WHO FIGHT FOR IT EVERYDAY. GOD BLESS YOU. 🙏🏽

FIRE is deeply troubled by @UNC’s decision to condemn satire and announce an investigation into protected student expression.
The @dailytarheel, which is editorially and financially independent from the university, published satirical April Fool’s articles with headlines like “Trump Orders Alcohol Law Enforcement in Chapel Hill Replaced with ICE Agents” and “UNC Brings Back DEI-For Whites.”
After calls for takedowns from student groups and the student body president, the paper took the articles down and its editor-in-chief apologized.
Hill After Hours, a separate registered student group, also posted and deleted a TikTok sketch satirizing a stereotypical white student walking through an area of campus where predominantly students of color have historically lived.
In response, Senior Vice Provost James Orr issued a university statement condemning the satirical content and announced the university was investigating Hill After Hours.
That is not the role of a public university. Students and student journalists do not lose their First Amendment rights because their speech is offensive, unpopular, or badly received. Critics are free to answer with more speech. UNC is not free to answer it with condemnation and investigation.
UNC-Chapel Hill’s response also raises serious concerns under North Carolina law, which requires UNC System institutions to remain neutral on “the political controversies of the day.” A university cannot claim neutrality while taking an official side against protected student expression.
UNC-Chapel Hill must retract its statement and end the investigation. Offense is not license to police protected expression.

🚨 DUNKIN EMPLOYEE FILMS WHAT HAPPENS TO THE DONUTS AT CLOSING — AND PEOPLE ARE FURIOUS
A Dunkin worker posted a video showing the end-of-night routine.
Tray after tray of donuts… hundreds of them… dumped straight into the trash.
Then the bags get carried outside and thrown into the dumpster.
People watching say the craziest part is these are perfectly good donuts that were sitting in the display case just hours earlier.
Some say it’s company policy to prevent employees from taking them home.
Others say it’s insane to watch this much food destroyed while people are struggling to buy groceries.
Now the video is spreading because everyone is asking the same thing:
Why throw away hundreds of donuts instead of giving them away?
Instead of taking his kid’s phone and changing some very basic settings, an act which is entirely within his personal control and would take him three minutes, he wants to take everyone’s constitutional rights away
The government has no place policing editorial decisions, yet the FTC warning Apple News over alleged left-wing bias did just that.
Apple has the same First Amendment right as a newspaper to decide what content to share.
