On August 26, 2021, thirteen service members gave their last full measure of devotion at Hamid Karzai International Airport.
Today, we remember their service and sacrifices, which enabled the evacuation of nearly 130,000 people out of Afghanistan.

It’s alive! So proud of #ProjectUnite, the school violence prevention program we created with @NASRO_Info , the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence, @PolicingInst, @iloveuguys, and an incredible team of contributors and subject matter experts from across the country.
The @safeschoolsmd summer conference was outstanding today. I hope to have more building level administrators, political leaders and district leaders next year. We must increase our collaboration to ensure we meet the needs of ALL students !
