Dear world, we are tired and we know you are too. We are speaking our thoughts aloud hoping they will be heard. Hoping justice can be served, impeachments can be made, order restored, and the constitution upheld-which stands for liberty and justice for all.
Don’t give up on us
@highbrow_nobrow@Acyn Lol he does realize a quarry report is current and based on Jan-March, April-June, July-Sept, and Oct-Dec periods? The current state of the US as with our relationships on the decline with other countries…is in Him, ALL on him…and it’s not certainly not “great”..
Perhaps it’s not the pot of gold
that matters most at all—
not the glittering prize
at rainbow’s end,
but the steps we take
when the skies still hold
both storm and sun
in their hands.
It’s in the search—
in the questions that shape us,
the quiet moments of awe,
the stumbles that teach,
the whispers of wonder
in places we least expect.
Maybe the treasure
isn’t something we hold
but something we become—
hope-warmed, heart-wiser,
brave enough to keep walking
even when the road bends
and the rainbow fades.
Maybe the miracle
was never at the end,
but always
in the looking.

A Prayer From the Ashes
Thank you, dear Creator of the universe,
for the breath in my lungs—though ragged, still mine. For the ache in my bones—a quiet reminder that I am still here, still rising daily.
Thank you for this home—it’s not grand, not gilded, but sacred in its shelter; its years etched into walls that have held my joy, my sorrow, my fight. Thank you for the job—although chaotic, and cold at times, it’s a lifeline, a way to provide,
to protect the most precious parts of me. It is certainly not my passion, but it is my provision.
Thank you for the title I wear like armor: Mom.
For the boy who became a man while I watched with wonder. For the girl who dances with shadows but is still reaching—for light, for healing, for tomorrow. Thank you for keeping her
here. Thank you for the simple graces—running water, cool air in heat, groceries in the fridge,
and friends who do not vanish when I vanish.
Thank you for the chance to keep going. To bend, but not break. To fall to my knees and still find words to whisper upward. Guide us. Guard us. Cradle us in your mercy. Stretch your hand across this fractured world—calm the wars, soften the hate, wash us in peace so deep, no tyrant could ever unmake it. And when I forget
how far I’ve come, when the night presses heavy, remind me:
Gratitude is not about perfection—it is the light we carry when everything else feels dark.
