The Danare community in Boki Local Government Area, Cross River State, was thrown into a state of panic earlier today following an unauthorised incursion by over 200 officers of the Cameroonian Armed Forces.

The presence of foreign troops on Nigerian soil without any official communication or joint mission notification has left residents confused, frightened, and demanding answers from both governments.

As of the time of this report, there has been no official statement from Nigerian military authorities or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the incursion.

This is a serious breach of territorial sovereignty. The Federal Government must urgently clarify:

♦️ Why Cameroonian troops crossed the border.
♦️ Under what authority.
♦️ And what steps are being taken to prevent a recurrence.

Our soldiers quickly captured two enemy columns of armored vehicles, including modern T-72B3s and even T-90Ms. Instead of simply blowing up the tanks, they did something the Russians certainly did not expect.

Ukrainian crews got into the captured Russian tanks, switched on the radios, adopted the Russians' call signs, and set off on a deep raid behind enemy lines, posing as friendly forces.

The Russian columns moved calmly, believing they were safe. Our tank crews quickly neutralized the original crews, mastered the equipment, and blended into the Russian traffic flow. They spoke Russian over the radio, used the correct call signs, and imitated the style of Russian communications. At checkpoints, they were waved through without suspicion: "Go ahead, guys."

The Ukrainians then calmly drove straight onto the grounds of a Russian brigade headquarters.

Once inside, they suddenly turned their turrets and opened fire. The headquarters, supply depots, and vehicle park were turned into an inferno within minutes. Russian troops ran in panic between tents, firing in every direction, but it was already too late. They had allowed a "Trojan horse" onto their own base.

The operation was carried out brilliantly. Ukrainian forces seized the headquarters, captured officers, destroyed key facilities, and withdrew with minimal losses.

Do you know that jail, cell, and prison are not the same thing?

Let me break it down before somebody ends up arguing with police grammar.

1. CELL
This is the small room inside the station.

If you are arrested today and taken to the police station, before any “story” starts, you may be kept in a cell.

It is usually temporary. Think of it as “holding room.”
Not a sentence. Just “sit down here first.”

2. JAIL (what many people call “gel”)

Jail is usually short-term detention.

It can be at the police station or local government level.

It is where you stay when your matter is still fresh and being processed.

Small stay. Quick judgement. No long grammar.

3. PRISON

This one is serious business.

Prison is where you go after court has convicted you.

It is long-term. Sentence has been passed. Law has spoken.
This is not “come and explain,” it is “go and serve.”

So in simple terms:

Cell = waiting room of trouble
Jail = short stay with police
Prison = court has finished you (legally)

Moral lesson,

Please, Avoid anything that will make you start learning the difference by experience.
