Thank you to the @CityofStamford operations department for taking in five interns this summer. Nicole, Dea, Tyler, Mehnaz, & Max worked on special projects all summer. They worked hard on making the city's website easier to navigate and used data to write up reports #MYEP22

@iChocoThunder returned and spoke about his new app CollegeSavvy. The app's goal is to help students with communicating with their professors, advisors, and deans. He discussed his college experience with the interns and explained how his app would have helped him during college

Jeff Jecrois spoke to the interns about the recruitment process and how he as a recruiter looks for candidates to fill positions. He shared what companies look for in LinkedIn profiles and how the right keywords on your resume can result in landing a job.

They also participated in leadership activities and presented to their fellow interns what activities help them grow their skills. We are so thankful to Akosua and the United way team and cannot wait to keep growing our partnership.
