I’m in favor of anyone in America owning as many muskets or flintlock pistols as they desire, that’s the right of the people, according to the Constitution.

In 1791, common guns included muskets and flintlock pistols. A "typical Revolutionary-era musket" had a one-round magazine capacity, and could fire approximately three effective rounds per minute, in the hands of the most skilled wielder.

These are the “Arms” the writers of the 2nd Amendment understood “the people” would keep and bear.

If current National leaders are going to argue originalism about the Constitution, then let us have originalism relative to keeping and bearing Arms.
