The King’s Speech could help give voice to communities with “Greater devolution”, harnessing local knowledge for decision-making.

Nearly 41% of the new elected MPs are women - are we happy? No.

Even a modest improvement is to be celebrated!

We've still not achieved what we need, equal representation - we know the issues lie in processes & procedures.

More diversity is good. We can also prove it’s not a gamble, it brings less corruption…

Whether we are talking about offences, petty crimes or collusion, there’s a clear link between having (more) women as representatives & lower levels of corruption.
