Incidents involving drones, explosions and arson, with possible links to Russia, are becoming more frequent across Europe.

In Germany, a third drone linked to the incident involving a Ukrainian aircraft at Leipzig Airport has been found. Traces of explosives, presumably hexogen, were discovered on it, Spiegel reports.

On August 4, a drone was found near an Antonov Ukrainian aircraft at Leipzig Airport. Another drone may have collided with a DHL cargo plane. Authorities do not rule out a Russian link, but the origin of the drones has not yet been established.

A series of similar incidents has taken place across Europe in recent weeks:

▪️7 August, Poland - security services detained a Russian national recruited by Russian intelligence to assassinate a dual US-Ukrainian citizen.

▪️7 August, Germany - two unidentified drones were spotted over a Bundeswehr base in Mechernich.

▪️10 August, Bulgaria - a powerful explosion occurred at the EMCO arms plant that produces artillery shells.

▪️13 August, Italy - an explosion and fire took place at the KNDS Ammo Italy factory, which produces ammunition and solid rocket fuel.

▪️13 August, Netherlands - an object belonging to the company Gunvor exploded in the port of Rotterdam. On the same day, a large-scale power outage halted operations at several petrochemical facilities, including ExxonMobil.

▪️15 August, Estonia - a fire broke out in a building of the defense company Milrem Robotics. Three Latvian citizens were detained on suspicion of arson. A possible link to Russia is being investigated.

According to The Telegraph, Russia has launched a series of sabotage acts against European arms plants by recruiting local criminal groups and attempting to stay below the threshold that would trigger NATO's Article 5.

Real terror: Russia is systematically attacking passenger trains in Ukraine

A Russian Shahed drone attacked a passenger train in the Odesa region. There were 593 passengers on board, including 15 children, as well as railway crews.

The train was stopped in an emergency, and the passengers were evacuated to safety.

A drone also attacked an electric train at Lymanivka station in the Kharkiv region. Unfortunately, there were casualties: two women were killed.

Another six people were injured, including an 11-year-old girl — the daughter of one of the women who was killed.
