We love learning about how teams work with data. So we thought we’d ask some of the smartest people we know - you're invited!
Join us for a conversation with @tjmule, @StandardCode and @LiquoriceKrish, @getclockwise on building a data-centric culture.

What does "Standard Data" mean? Here's an example
Customer sends us data in excel, word, CSV, and google sheets (w/ diff column names)
We load into our platform
It is now available as JSON, Excel, and a dashboard.
Everyone is happy. We now go eat nachos.
Our data platform has reached a point where the tooling proactively sniffs out problematic data. This morning we alerted a client to a bad configuration and help them address an issue after dozens of records had been collected (out of a planned tens of thousands). #dataexperience
Best part of combining our data tools (which allows for easy collection of geopoints even in offline situations) with @metabase is that it takes us about 30 seconds to produce a map of where data was collected.
We recently asked a client what it was like to work with us vs. working with another data solution. They said:
"It's like we graduated to the big leagues. We had professionals we could call on for...well...anything. It was pretty awesome"
Leave the boring tech stuff to us.
"Do you know how much time this is going to save us?!?" customer to us just now after we helped them replace Excel as a data collection tool.
Excel has its place in the world! Just not for collecting data.
I need to collect data in a report part of the world ✅
Needs to work natively on iOS and Android ✅
The survey has 200+ questions ✅
It needs validation and skip patterns ✅
We need an outlier dashboard ✅
And it needs to be ready in 48 hrs ✅
The Standard Co way!
Speaking of @metabase, we get enough inquiries about building data visualizations, hosting custom installs of metabase, and building data pipelines that we've created a dedicated page on our website to all the metabase thingys we do. Take a look https://t.co/ERU4yvR9Mn
We love recording @metabase explainer videos for other people because we will occasionally stumble onto our own video to explain something that we can't figure out 😂
Today the problem was using custom mappings.

Our very own @tjmule joined @DolphGoldenburg to chat the pitfalls of messy data and the money in the banana stand. Give it a listen!

A better Data Experience includes correctly formatted, properly standardized data, starting with onboarding. We couldn't agree more...
