We just posted an article about five years of Standard Magazine, how the world has changed in that time and about holding ourselves to a higher standard.
It's our final article before we leave and hand things over to a new team - give it a read!

@StandardMagSTA Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication. It has been amazing seeing you all grow over the years and to watch a humble school newspaper evolve into an incredibly impressive magazine, commended by professionals within the industry. I'm very proud of you all.
We had no idea about Private Aye! It's a great name for a magazine - why didn't we think of that? Thanks so much for your support; we'll join you in seeing what the next STA magazine looks like!
When I was in S4 at @StThomasAqSec, a group of us gave a School Magazine a go. It was fun & sold enough copies to break even, but it had nothing on what I've seen from @StandardMagSTA.
It's great the School supporting pupils to make something fun and different!
We're celebrating 5 years of Standard Magazine with an article about holding ourselves to a higher standard. Give it a read - https://t.co/8BenxFUTY8 @StThomasAqSec

In the meantime it's champagne and jelly time to celebrate the fact that a racist, whose career centred around shocking a large audience, has had her large audience taken away. Yee hah.
You can read our interview with Selina about the work of Refuweegee, as well as her own article in the Glasgow Times about racism in Scotland. You can donate online - we encourage you to do so and we're working on donating from the magazine, as well as personally.

This is one of our more recent interviews and one of the ones we are most proud of. @refuweegee are an incredible glasgwegian organisation who support asylum seekers and refugees who arrive in the city.
Educate yourself on the issues facing asylum seekers and refugees in general, and specifically during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Selina has spoken on Instagram highlights over on @refuweegee about Asylum Support Allowance and Hotel Detention.
We interviewed Mhairi Black back 2018 - we spoke about political engagement in young people, making the Westminster Government more accessible and the impact of social media on politics. Give it a read! Link in bio.
In 2017 we went to the set of Still Game and talked to creators and stars, @FordKiernan1 & @greghemphill96, director, @MrMHines, and actor @MrMJCox (Tam) - great read for fans of the show & anyone who is interested in how they make telly! #StillGame https://t.co/YNZ6lCBzg7
