Among the articles voters passed was the $7,156,964 municipal operating budget, a $10 million appropriation for a water treatment facility and an article approving adoption of the Jaffrey Community Power Electric Aggregation Plan. https://t.co/A2JOd71y77

Thirty-four cents per kilowatt-hour for default energy service in Massachusetts (National Grid) beginning on 11/1? That is, literally, incredible. There oughta be a law.

Potential ANNUAL PEAK Alert again today, Monday, August 8th, 6-7 hour, but as always conditions at peak times are dynamic, and coal and jet fuel are used as peaker fuels on hot as well as cold days, so if you can safely, reduce electricity use 5-8pm.
PEAK ALERT again for tomorrow, Thursday, August 4th, 4-8pm especially 5-7. If you can do so safely, reduce electricity use, regional demand, costs and marginal emissions, and if your business has a cap tag then reducing during the annual peak hour saves $$$$. PM for more info!
Plan ahead! The annual peak day and hour in New England is never certain, but peak load of 24,360 MW is forecast tomorrow late afternoon. Reduce all electricity use between 4-8pm if safe to do so, residents and especially businesses with costly cap tags, and spread the word!
PEAK ALERT TODAY, 5-7pm, Thursday August 4th. Curtail electricity use 5-7pm if you can safely, or make that 4-8pm for extra protection and reduced regional costs and fossil emissions! To watch the ISO-NE grid real time demand here is the link. https://t.co/LfHjb7x16N
