C grade won via forfeit, B grade had a solid result against a depleted Rochy side. Batting first we made 6/189 with the old stages Bradd Stewart and @hankharro getting 50s. In reply Rochy were all out for 79, Fish 3 for and young bucks Hamish Stewart & Wil Harrison with 2 each.
B Grade consolidated their spot in the top 2 with a comfortable win against Nondies Cohuna, We sent the opposition in, restricting them to 80 with Danyon Stockdale snaring 2/13 off 8 and Stiggy chiming in with 3/19 off 5. At the Xmas/New year break we have C on top & B grade 2nd.
C grade continued their good form against Tongala. Batting first we made 6/181 with Cliffy Hepburn showing he doesnโt just take wickets but can handle the willow as well with 81. We restricted Tonny to 70 in reply, Jacob Gillie the pick of an even bunch with 3/7 off 7 overs
C grade sit atop the ladder after a tight win against Cooma, batting first Jacob Gillie with 57 was our only batter to go on with it to get us to 128. Wicket pig Cliffy Hepburn snagged 3 and Ben Condell 4, to skittle Cooma for 106.
B Grade back on the winners against Rushworth. Danyon Stockdale 3 wickets and spin twins Steven Hall & Wil Harrison 2 each kept Rushy to 120, openers Crackers Emmett (50) & Thumpa Hepburn(27) did the heavy lifting & Daryl Harrison(22no) finished the job off with 8 overs to spare
B Grade got skittled for 90 with Bradd Stewart making 27. LBU got the runs with 9 overs to spare. Jake Fisher 2 wickets and Wil Harrison bowling well again with 0 for 10 off 6 overs
Easy win for C Grade restricting Echuca South to 86 with Cliffy Hepburn taking 6 for 4 and young Charlie Pekin snagging 2 for 9 off 5, with Dad Gary taking a catch off his bowling. Chased the total down without loss, Shagga 64, Cliff 22.
B Grade had a commanding win v Echuca at Vic park, we posted 4/176 with Crackers (67) & Twynny (47) top scoring.
In reply Echuca were bowled out for 65 with the wickets shared between Jake Fisher, Danyon Stockdale, Crackers & Wil Harrison all snaring 2 wickets
Great day for the club yesterday with the highlight being Lee Rowland scoring 105no in C Grades good win v LBU. Stiggy made a quickfire 50 and took 3 wickets whilst battling gout and paceman Jacob Gillie took 4 wickets to help defend our total of 5/210.
B Grade chased down Tongalaโs 115, 7 down, even spread of wicket takers and run scorers.
