Unfortunately due to massive plant room issues starting at the end of the week and continuing through the weekend, we are unfortunately unable to open tomorrow.

Online booking is now available for swimming next week.
We will be opening for lane swimming first, and will explore adding family swims once our staff have got to grips with everything.

We know that some are disappointed, and puzzled, about why we didn't open the doors to the pool on 29/03 when the restrictions on outdoor exercise were lifted.

@TynemouthPool Unfortunately no solid news on the lease as of yet. But we are currently having our second filter refurbished and doing what we can while chasing up solicitors
With the continuing uncertainty surrounding COVID19 and when swimming pools will be able to reopen the committee has decided that it would be best for us to not open for this season.
We will be taking this time to perform essential maintenance to the facility. See you next year!
