@ZiddersRoofurry I agree with you, theres nothing wrong with enjoying plushies to cope. But something just seems off about sexualizing not only the coping tactic itself, but an object that is the epitome of childhood innocence. Why would someone want to corrupt that? For brief gratification?

@ExayArD Fair point, but that's also a lot more broad than the topic at hand. Yes it's common in children, but as we've seen as time has gone on, it's also very popular in adults as well. Adults usually don't treat their stuffed animals like romantic partners, that's pushing it.

My final take (for now) on the AI Art thing is this. I can't speak for Star but I was never trying to imply that artists were not worthy of making a living wage. That's not for me to judge. But there's a difference between saying "I want to live a stable life" and... -

Really I don't have much stake in either side of the argument. Star's post showed up, I happened to agree with parts of it, that's it. I'm not invested.

Like any market, there's new competition in town. Fans will still remain loyal to their favorite artist. If not, who cares?
