🚨 Zohran Mamdani explains why he skipped Israel Day in NYC:
"Solidarity with a government that is committing genocide is a very different thing than a question of solidarity with people of a specific faith."

NBC News: democratic socialists are on the rise in Trump-era mayoral races
"You're seeing a referendum on Trump, but also on the Democratic establishment".
The choice is clear in NY-13.
Darializa Avila Chevalier is fighting for the people of New York City. Adriano Espaillat is fighting for wealthy donors, corporations, and the real estate industry.
Vote by June 23 to elect @DarializaforNY to Congress.
I’m beyond proud to have the support of ✨The Holy Trinity✨: @ZohranKMamdani, @TeamAOC, & @BernieSanders!
They have taught me and millions across the country that a people-powered movement can defeat the oligarchs and take back power for working people.
Vote June 23. 🌹

It is often said that soccer is more than a game. That truth was evident as I joined residents at the Bruckner Boulevard shelter in the Bronx to watch Senegal take on France in the World Cup.
In the United States, the culture of soccer has long been carried by immigrants — people who have brought their clubs, traditions, and love of the game with them from around the world. Many of the residents at Bruckner know what it means to leave one home behind while seeking refuge in another, and the immense challenges that journey can bring.
For just a few hours, the match offered something more than entertainment. It offered humanity, reprieve, and a momentary break from hardship. Most importantly, it offered community. For so many people around the world, that is what makes soccer the beautiful game.
We're bringing the Knicks Championship Parade to the people - no matter where you are.
Watch live at https://t.co/TcB0APUmeA or on the NYC Mayor's Office YouTube, X, and Facebook at 10AM EST tomorrow.
Stick around for the City Hall Ceremony following the parade.
