At the young age of 12, Emeka Nzeruike was thrown into prison in 2015 ,alone, afraid &forgotten. No trial, No lawyer ,No voice .Today, We stood where justice had long been silent. We held his hands, walked him out of the court room & gave him back his future. Welcome back Emeka.
@arewa_intellect@_TheTime_isNow_ Just to clarify, NRC (a federal agency) runs trains in Jos—not the Plateau State Govt. Buying or upgrading trains is a federal responsibility. NRC recently resumed daily Jos-Bukuru trains after repairs. So it’s wrong to blame the state for old trains.
True development, in my view, can only take root when our local governments are functioning efficiently. After all, the people reside in the local governments without them, there is no state.
There is an importance of synergy between all levels of government, Federal, State, and Local. Our focus should not only be on autonomy, but on efficiency, productivity, and the actual delivery of democratic dividends to our people.
Our local government leaders have a sacred responsibility to serve with integrity and a clear sense of purpose. It would be a tragedy if, at the end of their tenure, all that is remembered is that they merely occupied space. We must do better.
As I reflect on my own journey in leadership, my heart’s desire is to leave a legacy that inspires gratitude, not regret. I urge all officials present to embrace their duties with sincerity, humility, and a mindset that puts the people first.
I believe that God is already answering the prayers of the people of Plateau State. We are beginning to see doors of opportunity open. But to truly step into this new season, all of us must rise to the occasion.
Let us put God first, the people second, and ourselves last so that when our time is over, those we served will look back and say, “Thank God they had the opportunity to lead.”
Ultimately, our collective goal is to see Plateau shine and that will only happen through committed, visionary, and selfless leadership.
My amazing Team 8
We did it 🔥🔥

INNOVATION, COLLABORATION, AND SERVICE.
As I stood before my team of political appointees at the Plateau State Annual Executive Retreat in Miango, I reflected deeply on the journey we have embarked on together. The theme of our retreat, “That Plateau May Shine,” is not just a slogan—it is a call to action, a challenge to rethink governance, and a commitment to a future where our people thrive.
The responsibility bestowed upon us by the people of Plateau is a sacred trust. It is not an opportunity for self-aggrandizement or complacency; rather, it is a mandate to transform lives, rebuild communities, and set our state on a path to prosperity. As leaders, we must embrace innovation, engage in deep thinking, and work collaboratively to solve the challenges before us.
Our retreat is not just another gathering—it is a moment of reflection and recalibration. If we are to succeed, we must discard silo thinking and embrace collaboration. No single person has all the answers, and no single office can drive the transformation we seek. The future of Plateau depends on a collective effort.
The education and health sectors require urgent attention. Our infrastructure must be strengthened to support economic growth. We must tackle poverty and insecurity with bold, strategic interventions. These are not mere aspirations—they are tasks that demand immediate action.
I challenge my appointees: use your positions wisely. See them as a trust, a responsibility that extends beyond loyalty to me as your leader. From this moment forward, let your ultimate loyalty be to God and the greater good of Plateau State.
To support our journey, we have brought together some of the finest minds in governance, leadership, and biblical principles. I am grateful to Bro. Gbile Akanni, Rev. Prof. Pandang Yamsat, Prof. Yusuf Turaki, and the UNDP Resident Representative, Ms. Elsie Attafuah, for their insights. Their wisdom will serve as a guiding light as we work to transform Plateau into a beacon of hope and progress.
This retreat is not the end—it is the beginning of a renewed commitment to service. Let us not postpone today’s tasks for tomorrow. Let us work with urgency, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility.
The Plateau we envision is within reach. Together, through unity, innovation, and an unwavering dedication to the people, we will make Plateau shine.

He who makes a distinction between light and darkness, sacred & the secular, may he pardon our sins. May He proliferate our children & our wealth like the sand, & like the stars at night.
Twilight has arrived like the shade of a palm tree; I call to God who gives me everything.
@harrizone98@iaboyeji Personally, I see nothing wrong with the contrast in the two tweets.
As we grow, we learn to see things differently.
Understanding comes with time and with growth.
This will help us give allowance for people to change their opinions because it can be a sign of growth.
