π¨π―π΅ π‘ππͺ: Cameras caught Japan coach Hajime Moriyasu giving instructions to his players using a whiteboard filled with numbers.
Japan appear to have several plays and tactical systems coded by numbers, possibly to surprise their opponents and keep their instructions hidden.
A very interesting and innovative method from Moriyasu.
@scarycath This is the beauty of social media. If you're going to shout into the void of it, people have the facility to shout back.
If you're going to poorly criticise something that clearly is an important part of their lives, don't be surprised when you get a bit back.
Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC werenβt happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasnβt happy.
One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??
The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasnβt meant for you.
Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!
@colinrtalbot Firearms are at the heart of USA culture. It tamed the West, it was (in some parts still is) carried like keys and wallet.
It doesn't mean we allow a cultural (or religious) practice to become the norm in our society.
The dagger in cultural Scottish attire is of this land.
@CPSUK As a member of the public, I'd like to speak on behalf of myself and other like minded people THAT IT IS ABSOLUTELY IN MY INTEREST that you seek another retrial.
What message is being sent where you can assault cops on this scale and get away with it?
@aheroinesdeath Spent the last week playing Batman in the hopes of finishing it (I haven't even nearly done so) in time for 007.
Now I've got them both and my annual leave is ending so no time to play them π
