@hey_nugu@heymiles @kkprotocol @crypto_margiela Apparently crypto bull isn't coming back until 2025. We must find some other industry to conquer in the meantime.
@kylienft If you want your buyers to actually feel like they own your work, maybe stop trying to exert so much power over an asset once it's not truly yours anymore? Seems like a reasonable thing if you want people to actually continue to purchase what you're selling.
@kylienft Less then what's currently the norm does not equate to as little as possible. The sky is the limit for what you can make as an artist in this space, I just think you shouldn't be making it from something you've already sold.
@kylienft If the only way you're incentivized to be creative and produce continual success is to demand 5-10 % of secondary sales of something that you no longer own, I'm very certain that there's plenty of other artists and creatives ready to fill that void once you step down.
@kylienft It's the only way to participate. We're in the first inning of a new technology that will be a big part of the future, and by participating and chosing to do your secondary sales where royalties can't be enforced, you're sending a clear message on what should be acceptable.
@kylienft But people are buying the movie? It's just that when they want to resell something that's theirs, they do it in a place where the predatory contract can't be enforced. Artists are still getting paid, they just can't get greedy.
@JaakoNFA I haven't seen anyone saying artists don't deserve to get paid, the question is more if they deserve to get paid for something after they've already sold it.
@EMoneyMoves Are you sure these numbers are still accurate? Earning 6 % from fees when everyone is trading 12 SOL shoes is a lot more lucrative than when they're 3 SOL. Prices crashing means that their earnings are crashing. They realize this, which is why they're conserving their capital.
@mrjasonchoi Agreed, unfortunately the CAC is paid by the vast majority of their userbase who bought in for thousands of dollars when floor was 12+ SOL. STEPN has a (bright?) future, but a lot of people are getting financially burned along the way. Would be nice if we could do better.
@Krit_STEPN Burning in itself doesn't make price appreciate, there needs to be people interested in actually holding the token, but everyone just wants to earn and dump it. So why would it go anything but down?
