@Paddystinian I don't buy that this couldn't have been stopped. If someone rocked up with float and it had a load of priests and altar boys with a dirty mattress and a bishop behind bars people would be losing their minds. Rape and peados are not funny or dressing it as social commentary is 🤬

@cahillbooks The should have been stopped, I don't buy the reason why it couldn't. If it was depicting priests and the abuse associated with them/ mother and baby homes dark histories it would never have got to join the parade. The fact that someone thought that'll get a laugh speaks volumes

@originalso76094 I'm guessing the kids legs are tired. In the same way you wouldn't walk a small dog for miles like you would a bigger dog. So much more effort for small legs and feet to cover ground. Kid just needs to get on shoulders for a rest and move forward to destination. Everyone happy!

@EoinLenihan All I see is happy children, a school being saved from shutting, a village with an increased population that if hadn't happened would have ended a ghost village in a generation with empty buildings falling apart. As someone from rural mayo that's seen classes with 3 children.

@KirstieMAllsopp My kid will have screen time on holidays only cos he benefits from giving his body rest. He will be 90% of the time with adults , walking, running and visiting places where he hears lots of languages. You can hear his brain frying. Playing his alphablocks game is his downtime

@KirstieMAllsopp As someone with a child,. It's a long day on holidays with lots of stimulation and activities. Sometimes everyone needs time out from chatter and to disengage with their surroundings. Maybe this was the case and family would be on the go tech free for the rest of the day 🤷🏻‍♀️

@RabbiZvi @jojoluna1972 @azealiaslacewig I appreciate all this but David and Goliath should not be played out in real life at the cost of childrens lives. This is an unfair war and only the most innocent and vulnerable and getting killed. Dialogue needs to happen now as I'm typing people are dying

@jojoluna1972 @azealiaslacewig @RabbiZvi Always regular folk who suffer but the regular folk in Palestine are suffering at levels you or I can't begin to comprehend. Politics, war over territory and financial gain mean little to the everyday person who's family gets wiped out through starvation or violence. Ceasefire
