It is a matter of immense delight that yesterday, on the occasion of Buddha Purnima, the ‘Sacred Exposition of the Holy Relics of the Tathagata’ was inaugurated in Leh. These revered relics are linked to the Piprahwa Stupa in Kapilavastu and were excavated in the closing years of the nineteenth century. They embody the enduring teachings of Lord Buddha.
The exposition will continue until 14th May. In the coming days, it will also travel to Zanskar. It offers a valuable opportunity for people from across Ladakh to pay their respects. It will also boost spiritual and cultural tourism in Ladakh.
The Holy Relics have arrived in Ladakh…
Words fall short, hearts overflow.
How incredibly blessed we are to witness this in our lifetime. 🙏🏻
Thank you @PMO@MinOfCultureGoI@lg_ladakh@ashishkundra 🙏🏻🙏🏻
@iamfaisalashoor@flyspicejet Avoid @flyspicejet if you can. Repeated delays, excessive baggage checks at every step even after clearance, and zero customer sensitivity. Consistently disappointing.

The return of the sacred Piprahwa relics associated with Bhagwan Buddha after over a century is a moment of pride, reverence and cultural connect. Here are the highlights from today’s programme.
First time in Bhutan — and I’m already in love with its people, culture, and peaceful spirit. Bought this dress to wear for the rest of my days here… there’s so much to learn from this beautiful land and its kind hearts. 💛🇧🇹
