Anyone have advice on whether they prefer structures "breaking apart" vs a generic damage system? Eg pieces blowing off or premade models

Seems structure placement is a bit more difficult in UE4 than I had hoped, but it should be on the verge of ready soon!

Trying to decide between making units move "robotically" or make it more realistic but performance taxing...Any opinions on its importance?

Modelling is taking significantly longer than expected, so I've decided to work on other game features for a bit (sorry for the delays) :(
