BBC headline - 'Cancer in crisis warning over long treatment waits in Wales'
It might be useful if the BBC were to ask Equitix why a state-of-the-art cancer centre, with proton facilities, is gathering dust in Newport.
One of the best centres I've ever seen, empty.
Insanity.
Are there any brilliant travel photographers out there who I need to know about? We are looking to expand our pool of photographers for our photo essays for JRNY. So if haven’t been touch before, send an email with your website url to [email protected]#travelphotography
It is absolutely insane that we have four state-of-the-art cancer centres laying empty when there are headlines like this:
"Nearly half of cancer patients waiting too long for treatment, the worst on record" - DT.
World-class equipment rotting away.
Countries are investing hundreds of millions into developing Proton Beam capable cancer centres.
Spain for example is spending a huge amount of money...
Here in the UK - three centres are empty, gathering dust.
State-of-the-art cancer treatment and we're being left behind.
Delighted to report that we've been issued with our Operational Authorisation by the Civil Aviation Authority to continue to fly drones for our aerial photography📷 & filming📽️. It's no small job to go through the hoops, thanks @UAVAcademyUK for leading us through the process
Proton Beam Therapy is revolutionary cancer treatment.
Countries around the world are investing hundreds of millions into these machines.
UK capacity is desperately short, yet we have three state-of-the-art centres PBT capable laying empty during a cancer crisis.
Insanity.
Please RT this if you want the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to immediately take the action necessary to find these 79 missing children. The Home Office are doing nothing. Let’s take this to the top.

You're 23 (twenty-three) times more likely to be prosecuted for benefit than tax crime, even though tax fraud and error costs an estimated £20bn a year compared to £2bn in benefit fraud and error. (h/t @paulwaugh) https://t.co/AMtlDTQxVp
Seeing these world-class cancer centres empty was emotional.
A scandalous waste of the highest quality equipment.
Delays are killing, yet these facilities gather dust.
Please watch/share and hopefully Equitix (the decision maker) will act for the sake of thousands of patients.
