It took a while, but i finally watched Giri/Haji.

In my opinion, the series is beautifully crafted, and elegantly shows the similarities between London & Tokyo.

However, I often felt both the cinematography & acting performances (from the main cast) outshone the storyline.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching ‘Haruka's Pottery’ tonight (aka Haruka no sue) which is part of #JFTFP21 online special.

Although to be honest, I’ve really missed travelling around the UK this year to discover Japanese films.

@jpflondon I wasn’t able to book any tickets on Monday, as I was working all day.

I’m glad to have booked some this afternoon, but I’m still disappointed I’m missing out on some films.

Personally, I wish there was a small booking fee, as I imagine some people won’t use their tickets 🤷🏻‍♂️
