Growing followers can make you poorer.
Sounds wrong. That’s why it works as a trap.
Most people treat a new follow like a deposit.
It’s inventory you haven’t sold — and sometimes inventory that costs you.
In my $99 → $1,000 AI influencer challenge, Ray can rack up views.
Every view that never turns into trust still burns:
time, clip cost, and attention I could have spent on people who pay.
AI makes the trap worse.
It prints the first layer fast — more posts, prettier ads, louder applause.
It cannot print belief.
It cannot print a checkout.
So I’m not counting followers this week.
I’m counting three things that can show up on a ledger:
1) clips that ship without me
2) cost per second that fits the $99 budget
3) whether anyone pays after they watch
Followers are applause.
Checkout is the only scoreboard.
What are you counting — attention, trust, or revenue?
@ComfyUI Now I directly let Agent connect to ComfyUI automation to help me do the video generation of the workflow. How can Xiaobai understand so many professional things?
@finnardley Pay attention to a wave of bloggers. Which video model does the blogger use to make animated short videos? I want to know the cost and difficulty?
