Some of you are exposing your bias more than your football knowledge. Praising one goalkeeper after a great performance does not mean you’re disrespecting another. When Stonebwoy applauded Ati-Zigi, he was recognizing a player who stood tall for Ghana 🇬🇭 against Colombia 🇨🇴 . That is called appreciating merit, not picking sides. What’s even more ironic is that the same Stonebwoy has publicly praised Benjamin Asare for his performance against Croatia 🇭🇷 , despite Asare being associated with the SM fan base. At that time, he didn’t allow music rivalry to cloud his judgment because excellence deserves recognition, regardless of affiliations.
So why is it suddenly a crime to appreciate Ati-Zigi’s performance?
This obsession with turning every football conversation into a BHIM vs. SM debate is exactly what holds us back. Ghana is bigger than fan bases. We are fortunate to have two quality goalkeepers capable of representing the Black Stars at the highest level. Supporting Ati-Zigi doesn’t mean hating Benjamin Asare, just as praising Benjamin Asare never meant disrespecting Ati-Zigi. Mature football fans understand that two players can both deserve praise without it becoming a competition. Let’s stop manufacturing division where there is none. Celebrate excellence, support every player who wears the Ghana jersey, and put the nation’s football above music fan wars. I always stand with @stonebwoy ❤️❤️❤️🫡🫡
