⚠️ PSA for moots, creators & everyone else as the hacker that got my Discord & one of my emails is still going ham & there's definitely more of them and I'm noticing something very alarming!!

Make sure you DO NOT have all your accounts on one email. Spread your accounts over various. Have no more than 2 or 3 accounts on a single email address for platforms such as Discord & other messaging platforms. You do not want to lose everything because one thing is compromised.

As it's becoming more clear, hackers are not only targeting accounts like Discord or Minecraft but are also targeting the ASSOCIATED EMAIL so you cannot recover your accounts without fighting with support teams trying to make them let you prove ownership of your affected accounts!!! Support teams from major companies like Google, Microsoft & Discord are becoming increasingly useless in the name of "security".

DO NOT RISK YOUR ENTIRE ONLINE PRESENCE AS YOU KNOW IT BY THINKING IT WON'T HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!! Hackers are unpredictable and if they deem your account to be "valuable" they will either: a) sell it without trying to make a "deal" with you or b) try to extort hundreds if not thousands from you and then most likely NOT GIVE THE ACCOUNT BACK ANYWAY!!

This one "trick" is what saved me from losing everything and I only lost Discord & unrestricted access to that email.

Another two important things- set up 2-factor/multi-factor authentication on ALL your accounts that offer it & setup a password manager. Don't use the same password everywhere. This is how you lose everything even if you don't keep everything on the same email.

-the Google account associated with everything Starlight was protected against the hacker and as far as we can tell from multiple safe guards we have in place, the account wasn't breached in the first place.

We will keep everybody updated as Amy tries to resolve this.
