Mr. Martorana and Mr. Ryan spent the morning with our 7th and 8th graders reviewing expectations and important Middle School procedures. Mr. Mariglia joined to talk about the importance of caring for Chromebooks. Looking forward to meeting with 6th grade tomorrow!
Congratulations to 7th grader, Kate English! Who was selected to be the featured artist for the month of May. Kate mostly enjoys drawing realistic images of animals, especially cats in pencil.
Congratulations to this month's featured artist, Aubrey Gump! Aubrey is a talented 6th grader who enjoys creating hyper-realistic drawings using pencil and colored pencils. When not creating hyper-realism art, she also loves to sketch and doodle in her sketchbook.
Amazing job!
We had a great Unity Day at Starpoint Middle! Lots of orange and a beautifully decorated lobby (thanks to some help from our students). We are lucky to have students that help foster a kind and inclusive environment.
Shoutout to our awesome Unity Day poster winners too!
Nothing gets a Friday started better than a visit from the coffee cart! Mrs. Eberle, and her class, learning important, practical life skills- while providing joy to our staff!
Over 50 of our students stayed after today to tie-dye shirts to wear for spirit week next week. Thanks to Mrs. Preisch for setting up this fun opportunity for our students!
Dr. Gray and Mr. Martorana spent the last two days meeting with each grade level to review middle school expectations, answer questions, and set all students up for a successful year!
Mr. Mariglia stopped by too and discussed tips for the students to care for their Chromebooks!
