Fuck you, Twitter & YouTube.
"Trust the word 'impossible' as nothing more than motivation. Relish the opportunity to be an outsider. Embrace that label. Being an outsider is fine. Embrace the label because it's the outsiders who change the world."

I love you, dad. I’m endlessly grateful for the good fortune of being your daughter. The gentle yet powerful steadfast unconditional love you have shown to us throughout our lives is unmatched. When I think back over my life, through thick and thin, you have been by my side every step of the way (often with a guitar or a tennis racquet in hand), not only as my dad but my best friend. I love you with all my heart ❤️ and wish I could be there to spoil you today for Fathers Day!
This was the most cringe thing I have heard in a very long time.
We have a problem in the Republican Party and people refuse to acknowledge and deal with it in five years we will become the left and there won’t be any viable parties in America.
I don’t want that to happen. But in order to stop it people need to get serious.
Netanyahu: "You know damn well what America would do. It would cross the border, create a security zone, kill the terrorists and protect its people until the threat is removed. That is exactly what we are doing."
It’s sad that someone would feel compelled to write an article like this.
Within this Atlantic article, the writer strains against the joy that’s been expressed by our foreign World Cup guests, and tries to find evidence of its falseness.
He is unable to.
I have saved you the trouble of reading the article. Enjoy all the happy videos instead.
And @TheAtlantic, you would gain many subscribers if you were to instead print the obvious piece about the joy being expressed. And also pull some happiness to yourself in associating with this joy.
Prostration (sujūd) after scoring a goal is mostly religious theater. If these players were truly concerned about following Islam consistently, they would first have to explain why they are participating in an activity that Islam would classify as haram in the first place:
1.Professional soccer is played for money, prizes, bonuses, and contracts worth millions. Muhammad reportedly said: “There should be no prizes except in competitions involving camels, horses, or archery.”
2.Most players spend 90 minutes exposing their thighs and knees in clothing that many Islamic scholars consider immodest and forbidden (Haram).
3.The sport was invented by non-Muslims, and is surrounded by music, gambling, celebrity culture, and mixed-gender crowds. If “whatever leads to haram is haram,” then why does that principle suddenly disappear when soccer is involved?
4.FIFA and major leagues make enormous amounts of money from alcohol sponsorships and alcohol sales. The salaries of many players come from an industry saturated with things Islam explicitly condemns.
5.Some teams wear jerseys displaying crosses and other Christian symbols. It is hard to take a public display of Islamic devotion seriously when it is performed while wearing a cross on the chest. For example, players may perform sujūd while representing teams whose jerseys prominently feature a cross (like Spain).
6.Millions of fans delay or miss prayers because of matches. Stadiums are full during prayer times, but suddenly everyone remembers Allah when a goal is scored.
The reality is that, for many players, the prostration is not an act of deep piety. It is a PR gesture, a way to advertise religious identity in front of millions of viewers. Spending the entire match immersed in practices that Islam condemns, then dropping into a quick prostration after scoring, does not magically transform the rest into an act of devotion. It looks less like worship and more like virtue-signaling on the world’s biggest stage. @Lamineeyamal__
You are a devout Twelver Shia Muslim.
Muhammed married Aisha when she was 6.
He raped her when she was 9.
Twelver Shia Islam says Muhammed was divine and this was not rape.
Of course you say you don't defend rapists.
Your religion does not believe raping children is rape.
Imagine if we had an evangelical Christian mayor, and almost every week after his election public parks and city streets were taken over for massive Jesus revivals, complete with crowds of worshippers, giant crosses, and Christian prayers and revival music blared from loudspeakers, with the mayor himself even attending some of these takeovers personally.
Imagine the absolute meltdown the press would be in. Imagine the dire lectures about the separation of church and state we’d all be enduring from Democrat politicians and civil rights groups. Imagine the boiling outrage from the average New York City liberal.
Frankly I doubt it could happen more than once or twice before the injunctions were handed down and the mayor was sued personally by the ACLU. Not to mention the leftist militants that would mobilize to disrupt the events.
Yet none of that is happening to the Muslims. Very odd, isn’t it?
Cannibalism has been documented in over 1,500 species.
Anti-cannibalism laws are only found in one.
Do we now realize why using the appeal to nature fallacy is silly?
