I’ve just seen a woman on Pinfold Street fall over, after a manhole cover is currently left open.
Hopefully others see this for awareness. Seen so many others at the time nearly miss it
Had the pleasure of meeting Sapreena at a @ffchamber event in 2019! And the positivity and support for how Birmingham was growing was shared by many!
Having seen the growth of the city in the 7 years since, it’s frustrating the demonisation of Brum continues!
Getting tiresome!
Really dislike Birmingham accounts whose whole schtick is demonising Birmingham. We have enough slander, how about sharing some positives about our city and not contributing to the hideous and snobby rhetoric that the city is in ruin?
While Birmingham may technically be the first to announce one, this is great news.
I just watched a bit of Man City vs LFC women. The appetite and support in the ground was very encouraging.
But learning from Sports Perfect Storm by @RPMComo gives me cautious optimism!
.@OfficialBHAFC has confirmed plans for the UK and Europe’s first purpose-built women’s football stadium. It will be one of only three such stadiums in the world, putting the club at the forefront of the women’s game globally.

Waterloo Street in Birmingham City Centre is an underrated street from an aesthetic POV. Looks very European!
I hope it stays underrated so it doesn’t lose that charm. But my word what a place! #Brum
@djtonyperry@premierleague I’m so glad Lovin’ each day gets some love. The choreography of the video itself is underrated. But it’s criminal a song like that only lasted one season.
It gave more goosebumps than a lot of the others.
Great work, Tony - loved your 90s one too!
Been let go of my current job due to circumstances I can’t help, if anyone knows of any work in Birmingham can they let me know asap please, much appreciated. #BCFC
An Adidas Puma merger is interesting
Does Adidas want Puma’s assets - Man City deal
Will we see Puma go the same way Umbro did post Nike buyout? They really struggled to integrate Umbro into their portfolio.
One to watch 👀
While I don’t think he would come to blues in an official capacity, with the new stadium - anyone else think Knighthead would be remiss not to tap into his expertise in an advisory capacity, after the success of Spurs multi-purpose venue?

La Liga and Bundesliga quietly making moves to improve global visibility
La Liga highlights on @RestIsFootball, while 20 Friday Bundesliga games shown by Mark Goldbridge
While catching up with the Premier League, they are also ahead of them in how Gen Alpha will consume sport
@Starrcomms Based on public data and your sports marketing focus on Birmingham City, the most famous person likely to have visited your profile is Tom Brady, due to his ownership in the club and active X interactions with its community@Starrcomms Based on public data and your sports marketing focus on Birmingham City, the most famous person likely to have visited your profile is Tom Brady, due to his ownership in the club and active X interactions with its community.
What's interesting about office space in the Birmingham Sports Qtr, is we will likely see a lot of PR or Sponsorship companies, with a sports focus convene to the city. Most are London based creating a Midlands brain drain.
Maybe it leads @Soccerex one day in Birmingham? #bcfc
Attended an amazing session with Brighton CEO Paul Barber OBE yesterday
Key takeaways
- The harder you work the luckier you get
- Success is not always a straight line
- Brighton discovered Mitoma at a university, when most teams scouted the Japan national team
Great talk!
@ReissOmari@ParadiseBham I hope they keep that tiny alley between the town hall building and this. Would do wonders to get round the German Market, if it continues to stay in Victoria Square. What a shortcut that would be!
During the Cricket World Cup, extra cameras were used to provide vertical video feeds. With eye-tracking studies a part it’s development.
I wonder how long before this is an industry standard across sport.

In better news - It’s great to see this week, @AndyMarstonSP Sport Pundit Speakers Only event have a panel with @Emma_Mid - on how to attract and appeal to more female fans.
Waking up this morning to see on @UnffclPrtnr, Tracey Crouch say that a very senior person in the football industry, didn’t like the fact a woman was part of the fan-led review - and it was a “vanity project for the girl” is alarming.
