People wrote off Blue Origin after the static fire. They're already moving stages and rebuilding the pad. Dave Limp said before year end. The pace of this recovery says it might be sooner than most expect. This is very bullish for the entire launch ecosystem.
ELEvo has it for around 1-2 UTC AM, Monday 8th. Depending on how the CME interacts with ambient solar wind, and how much it gets slowed down, i believe this is the most realistic one.
Happy birthday to the first astronaut to drive on the Moon, David Scott! 🥳
Scott flew on the Gemini VIII and Apollo 9 missions before landing on the Moon in 1971 for Apollo 15.

One of the men (Alan Hale) who first discovered C/1995 O1 Hale-Bopp, one of the most widely observed comets of the 20th Century, has sadly passed away this morning at the age of 68.
In microgravity, crystals experience "hopper growth," where the outer edges and corners grow at faster rates than the flat faces, creating a step-like appearance. This timelapse records their growth inside a thin water film. Look closely, and you will see the patterns emerge!

Over thousands of years, its boundary will move outward, eventually visually covering the distant background galaxy from Earth's viewpoint, demonstrating the dynamic, changing nature of astronomical phenomena.

The Pisces Dwarf Galaxy is a small, remarkable, dwarf irregular galaxy located about 2,51 million light years from Earth in Pisces. Spheroidal in shape, the galaxy is a companion to the much imaged Triangulum Galaxy (M33) which is a member of the Local Group. 📷 ESO #PiscesDwarf
An unexpected Mars Society dilemma: 2 of our chapters are rooting from opposite sides of the @NBA Finals! With Mars Society of San Antonio & Mars Society New York City (https://t.co/0vobau6gmU) both represented, we'll avoid picking favorites & cheer for great basketball instead!
This breathtaking image offers a detailed close-up of the spiral galaxy NGC 4603, situated over 100 million light-years distant in the constellation Centaurus.

NEW: Milky Way’s Black Hole Finally Caught “Breathing”
Astronomers using @almaobs have finally found clear evidence that the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way, Sagittarius A*, is blowing a hot cosmic wind, solving a 50-year mystery.
