@EliteOptions2 I hope nobody falls for this bullshit. Volume Profiles are essential and VWAP/EMAs are widely used even by institutions.
RSI, BBs, MACD and Stoch are actually pretty useless for day trading.
Trading gurus love to claim that you need years of backtesting to validate a strategy. Thatβs bullshit. Some trading approaches are dynamic and context-driven by nature, which makes meaningful backtesting with Python or TradingView technically impossible.
Unpopular opinion: The best traders canβt backtest because they donβt rely on rigid strategies. The ability to trade with discretionary context is the key to longterm profitability. Great traders see information that other traders could never fully translate into a set of rules.
@OQuezzz@Devsthetix This is Bullshit. 5 is completely inefficient and a waste of time. If you go 3 times with high intensity, thatβs more than enough for any normal person to stay fit and build muscle over time.
βI trade ICT. Why am I unprofitable? πβ
Bro, because ICT on its own is trash. Youβre trading blind. Are you using order flow, volume profiles, gamma exposure, open interest concentrations, OpEx, 0DTE flowsβ¦?
Itβs not that complicated. Get more data.
@QueenXenthe If you have a working strategy, donβt share it with thousands of copy traders. Algorithms arenβt stupid. When everyone trades the same levels, liquidity forms and liquidity is always a target. Thatβs why most big KOL strategies stop working over timeβ¦
@peakvaluelab Because 99% of projects are complete scams and uselessβ¦ and most investors have realized that. Whatβs left are KOLs, scammers, gamblers and retail cult followers.
@meeky_fx I think almost everyone goes through this. It would be really interesting to see a study on it. Maybe early success comes from simplicity and not overthinking.
