"STOP THE BOATS": Hundreds of protesters flooded the streets of Portsmouth after roughly 140 migrants arrived on the Hampshire coast following one of the largest small-boat crossings to the UK this year.

More than 500 people reportedly joined the demonstration, with some protesters attempting to block roads as police moved in.

The protest comes after the migrants were brought ashore by lifeboat on Sunday.

Prosecutors say Love built an elaborate scheme with 18-year-old Taylor Chan to scam 26 women out of their money.

A deadly wall of water tore through the Grand Canyon over the weekend, leaving one person dead and about 15 others missing as crews race to search the devastated terrain.

The flash flood ripped through Bright Angel Canyon and the Phantom Ranch area, destroying nearly all footbridges across Bright Angel Creek and forcing at least 62 people to evacuate.

Now the damage is creating another major problem. Floodwaters knocked out the Transcanyon Waterline, the critical pipeline supplying water to the park, triggering strict water restrictions and shutting down overnight lodging.
