Last night he had the strangest dream.
Lance had a beard, the Lions were under attack by an unknown enemy, and Keith was running towards a portal in a garden.
((Sorry for the inactivity. Turns out I have the flu. My focus is terrible, and as much as I want to write- I can't even talk properly or remember stuff at the moment.
"It got a lot easier with Voltron and the Paladins. But then that witch had to ruin the universe. I have a lot to be thankful for. I just. . . .feel disconnected?"
@Curtis_Fluff @BladeOfVoltron I knew it was grape. I just couldn't put my finger on it- not without all those usual artificial grape flavors. I like that they don't use those in it.
"Somewhere in space. I don't know the specific coordinates; it just feels like that's where I need to be." He answered without hesitation.
It wasn't something James fully understood as he'd only heard of Shiro, or the Paladins mention it briefly.
“A feel of something…needing you somewhere?” That’s one he’s never heard before, he gives James a concerned look. He’s familiar with feeling here but not here.
“Do you know where it’s wanting you to go?”
"Aw c'mon I'm sure you're not that bad. I'm not aiming to get addicted, I just enjoy the different flavors," James admitted with a faint chuckle.
He wasn't sure Curtis could top Ina when it came to having disastrous social interactions with aliens.
He shrugs, “I have no idea how much caffeine is in this. But I’m a disaster so don’t follow my example.” His job? Sure he’s good at that. But in everything else he’s a disaster.
@SxlflessHeart "One planet was actually brought back. Altea. Not sure how but the planets lost will be recorded. That's one of the projects the Paladins are working on. Sure, they had help. But they started the spark ya know?"
bother you."
James didn't say it, but he almost felt a sense of relief at Keith's presence. It had changed the current of thoughts he'd been wading through.
He'd said a few things as a kid that he certainly wasn't proud of. But that was how hindsight worked. There was no way he could have known that Keith's parents were gone, but he wasn't going to excuse himself for it either.
"No, I. . . .I can go. If you needed something I won't

in a way, he didn't even think james would care, they weren't the best of friends.
“ force of habit to patrol things, i can leave you alone if you want. ” a newfound concern lies in keith now, a bit surprising when comparing him to his younger self.

"It's like there's this static in my head. . . .not all the time. I find myself spacing out and thinking about space a lot. I snap out of it- but I feel like something's missing."
James explained with a sheepish expression. Maybe he was simply tired? Or fantasizing.
@ManAt_Arm James nodded as he gave Shiro an appreciative smile in return. He had no idea how to describe it- and perhaps it was nothing. Shiro didn't seem too worried, so he wouldn't think too much about it.
"Thank you Sir- uh Shiro. I really appreciate it,"
Maybe going on a mission +
