The Starship Foundation is a charitable social-profit organisation that raises funds so Starship Children's Health can better care for its young patients.
This week some of our senior leadership team graduated from the Te Kaa programme. Starship Foundation is proud to be deepening our understanding of Te Ao Māori and tikanga practices so we can better engage with our big, brave, beautiful Starship community.
Our tiniest patients and their whānau are incredibly well-supported thanks to the establishment of New Zealand first service, Whitinga ora pēpi.
A huge thank you to Five Star Partner @BarfootThompson who helped to make this possible.

@DrShaneRetiMP Good spotting Shane. The Starship Air Ambulance is a frequent visitor to the North - more often to Kaitaia than Whangarei. As you guessed it's a good option when helicopter availability is reduced/ weather conditions make flying at a higher altitude more comfortable for patients.
We need your help to keep Starship flying ✈️.
When a child’s life hangs in the balance, every kilometre counts & the Starship National Air Ambulance is their lifeline.
