In the last 238 ACC basketball games at Duke's Cameron Indoor Stadium--a stretch that goes back almost 30 years--there have only been four games when an ACC opponent has never trailed at Cameron:
Last night vs @UNC_Basketball
2/20/19 vs UNC
3/5/16 vs UNC
3/3/12 vs UNC
#7 USC: 9-1; 1 loss is to a ranked team (Utah)
#13 UNC: 9-1; 1 loss is to a ranked team (ND)
both play in P5 conferences, both have Heisman candidates at QB, neither have T25 wins… what’s the big difference in their resumes?
Really disappointed in how the @DukeMBB reacted to the @UNC_Basketball coaching staff after the game. Unacceptable. Respect the game and your opponent. This is a simple rule. A lesson coaches need to demonstrate to their players.
This is what youth coaches should be telling their players:
1. You are loved!
2. Having fun and loving the game is what matters most.
3. It’s okay to fail. Everyone does.
4. Fear is normal. Don’t worry about the outcome. Go for it!
5. Smile. It’s a game.
6. I believe in you!
Life is about people, commitment, loyalty and relationships. In the end we won't be measured by our bank account, sales numbers or wins and losses but by the difference we made in people's lives... and we make a difference through relationships.
