@Bryan_TGP @tqua2ci @Jomboy_ This is false. “On or over” only applies as the ball is passing on or over 1B/3B. The rule explicitly states if the ball settles ON foul territory or is touched by a player ON foul territory it is a foul ball.

Both arguments are correct, but you were/are 'right'. MLB should expand and enforce a bigger zone to get more balls in play and make the game more enjoyable to watch.

@dgoold after hearing your pods with @KevinWheeler94 and @bthompson48 about expanding or contracting the k zone, it seemed like you and Kevin were caught up in semantics. He was arguing for more offense. You were arguing for more balls in play. The 2 are not necessarily equal.

I agree with you completely that a bigger zone would put more balls in play and enhance and improve the game. I think Kevin is probably also right that a smaller zone would increase offense - walks, hits, HRs. But it would exacerbate all of MLBs current aesthetic problems.
