When you take a dx test, you are asking P(D|+) and P(D|-), what's the probability of having the disease if it came back positive or negative. #HealthCanada "took so long" because if the SN is not as close to 100%, then we risk false negatives. #xStat101 #xStat231 #xHtlh203 (3/4)

PSA for non-science folks: Wonder why everyone is emphasizing hand washing? Sounds banal, but soap really IS an amazing weapon that we all have in our homes. This is because coronavirus is an "enveloped" virus, which means that it has an outer lipid membrane layer.
