Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Friday visited the scene and announced that Government was partnering with SHC for the rehabilitation.Working through the State Housing Company (SHC) and in collaboration with mining firms operating in the Bogoso.

This was disclosed by the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Friday when he visited the accident scene to commiserate with the victims of the accident which claimed scores of lives.

SHC TO REBUILD BOGOSO APPIATSE
The government has commissioned State Housing Company (SHC) to immediately map out plans to reconstruct Bogoso Appiatse which was reduced to rubbles as a result of an explosion.

It would be recalled since SHC Administration took office about five years ,Traditional Leaders including Asantehene, Otumfuo Ose Tutu II, Okyenhene Amoatia Ofori Panin, Omanhene of Sefwi Traditional Area, Osabarima Kwasi Bumangama all gifted SHCwith parcels of land for projects

He recalled that about four decades ago, the Akuapem Traditional Council gifted then State Housing Corporation but the land was necer developed.
Mr Kwabena Ampofo Appiah thanked him for his warm reception and noted that his technical team was all set.
