Today, projects that Sen. @theresagavarone & I worked to include in HB 62 had their funding approved.
1 project will go to much needed improvements on SR 53 (so that more ppl can come visit Ottawa County!) & the other will go to essential upgrades to the dock at N. Bass Island!
Yesterday was busy in Columbus! My friend @DJSwearg DJ Swearingen was appointed as State Rep elect to the 89th House District.
I know that DJ will bring the same passion for helping our constituents & love for the 89th House District to the job that I felt as your State Rep.
HB 211, my legislation that streamlines the title process for abandoned boats passed the Ohio House yesterday.
My thanks to @HouseholderOH, his policy team, Chair Doug Green & his staff, & my colleagues in the Ohio House who voted overwhelmingly in support of this needed bill.
My colleagues & I had the opportunity today to meet with @GovMikeDeWine Mike DeWine & his lovely wife @FranDeWine at their home. It was great to connect with the Governor & the First Lady & to hear some of the other policy issues my colleagues in the House are working on.
I had a great time today speaking at the American Traffic Safety Service Association. I always enjoy speaking with this group on transportation and safety issues!
I was extrenely glad to see the Gundlach’s of Gundlach’s Air Conditioning yesterday at the Ohio Statehouse. I always love when constituents come to meet with me and share their concerns with on policy & issues back home.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of speaking with a group of Danbury Elementary students at the Statehouse. I had a great time speaking with them about “How a Bill Becomes a Law” and my job as their State Representative.

1st meeting of the Transportation Improvement District that formed to get funding to fix SR4.
I included language in the transportation budget that would direct funding for roads heavily impacted by tourism, like ours! Excited to work on this much needed project
