SIGA was established on 7th June, 2019 under the SIGA Act 2019 (Act 990) with the mandate to oversee and administer the performance of SOEs, JVCs and OSEs
As part of their study tour, Liberia's Bureau of State Enterprises, with SIGA staff, visited the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation to learn about SIGA's regulatory framework. GBC shared how SIGA's performance contracting and monitoring framework drives accountability & performance.
As part of their study tour, Liberia's Bureau of State Enterprises, with SIGA staff, visited the State Housing Company (SHC). The delegation learned about SHC's operations, performance under SIGA's monitoring framework, and toured selected housing developments and project sites.
On July 6, 2026, SIGA D-G Prof. Michael Kpessa-Whyte welcomed a two-member delegation from Liberia's Bureau of State Enterprises (BSE) for an SOE Study Tour. The visit promotes peer learning, knowledge exchange, monitoring & evaluation, and partnerships to advance SOE reforms.
