Validators that have left and closed down and validators that aren't online and dont look after their servers, the lunc people delegate with them get jailed, they stop earning rewards and a small jail fee gets charged on their lunc.

To continue earning rewards, whoever owns the delegated lunc need yo redelegate to an active validator like myself ir anyone else they choose thats online.

I fully agree. Enough is enough.

StrathCole is reportedly paying around $960 every single month out of his own pocket to keep a Terra Classic archive node running, and with him preparing to shut it down in roughly three weeks, this is exactly the kind of infrastructure issue governance should be addressing.

An archive node isn't simply "another validator server." It provides access to the chain's historical state and data and can be important infrastructure for developers, explorers, APIs, debugging, research and other services built around #LUNC.

Yet we're seeing people immediately shouting "scam" and comparing the cost of an archive node with the cost of running an ordinary validator.

That comparison demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of the infrastructure being discussed.

GP regularly makes extremely confident statements about technical matters while, in my view, showing very little understanding of how the chain or its infrastructure actually operates. He pays a third-party service to operate his own validator, yet apparently feels qualified to decide what specialised infrastructure should cost and accuse others of scamming the community.

That's dangerous when those statements influence governance.

People who don't understand the technical requirements can still have an opinion and cast their vote, that's decentralised governance. But presenting assumptions as facts and shouting "SCAM" without properly understanding what is being funded can persuade others to vote NO WITH VETO against proposals that could genuinely benefit the chain.

And NWV isn't simply "I don't like this proposal." It is supposed to signal something substantially more serious than disagreement over price or whether somebody personally believes the infrastructure is necessary.

If the community believes $960 per month is too expensive, fine, challenge the cost. Ask for specifications. Ask for invoices. Ask whether it can be hosted more cheaply. Ask for competing quotes. Demand transparency.

That's healthy governance.

But first understand the difference between a validator, full node and archive node before declaring that somebody is trying to scam #LUNC.

We have approximately three weeks to determine what infrastructure is actually required, establish a transparent and reasonable cost, and put a properly structured governance proposal forward so that an important service doesn't simply disappear because one individual has been personally funding it.

Infrastructure that benefits the entire chain should not automatically depend on one community member paying for it indefinitely out of their own pocket.

Research. Question. Verify. Then vote.

Don't allow the loudest person in the room to substitute confidence for technical knowledge.
